Crack dip

I’m gonna start by saying that this was actually not intended on becoming a recipe for the public. I have had several people ask for the recipe so I figured why not? I love cheese just as much as the next person but this hot crack dip takes the Cake. It is literally like taking your favorite whatever and having free reign to consume all you want. Just so everyone knows mine, it’s peanut butter cups or cookies.

This dip is creamy with salty, and savory flavors from the ranch packet. I like some texture from the peppers not heat though. I’m gonna keep this short. If you want to be everyone’s go to, or deliver that side everyone will be talking about for years. Do yourself a favor and make this.

Ajs Crack dip


2 cups shredded sharp cheddar

8oz block soften cream cheese

1 cup mayo

1 cup sour cream

1 1oz ranch packet

1 9oz bag real bacon bits

1 4oz can fire roasted diced green chillies


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Using a hand mixer combine mayo, ranch packet, sour cream, and cream cheese in a medium bowl.

  3. Fold in shredded cheddar, Bacon bits, and chillies using rubber spatula.

  4. Grease 8×8 baking dish, or 9×13. Transfer mixture from bowl to dish. Spread out until even.

  5. Bake until bubbly 35-40 minutes.
